On Monday, the streaming giant unveiled the first look of Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, sparking excitement across generations of fans.
Wearing Hogwarts robes and gripping a clapboard, McLaughlin channels the spirit of the Boy Who Lived, stepping into a role that once belonged to Daniel Radcliffe. The casting announcement was made via HBO Max’s Instagram, igniting a flurry of positive reactions such as “Just do your best, little Harry!” and “He looks great as Harry!”
Joining McLaughlin in the wizarding lineup are Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and veteran actors including John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Snape, and Paapa Essiedu as McGonagall.
