Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, visited the Odisha Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, highlighting it as a unified effort aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visions of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, as well as Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s ‘Odisha Vision 2036’.

Renowned globally for its exquisite handicrafts, Odisha has now emerged as a prime destination for investments. Dy CM Singh Deo emphasised that the pavilion showcases opportunities spanning from agro-products and rural artisan-made handicrafts to full-scale industrialization, which will generate direct and indirect employment for all sectors. During his visit, he praised the artistic displays and commended the pavilion’s role in fostering economic growth.

The ongoing IITF, running from November 14 to 27 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, saw Singh Deo arrive on the fourth day. He engaged in heartfelt interactions with participating rural artisans and entrepreneurs, encouraging them and boosting their morale.

Following this, the Deputy Chief Minister toured the Union Power Ministry’s pavilion, where he presented insights on power generation, investments, and advanced technologies in Odisha. He inquired about innovative approaches to green energy, renewable sources, and alternatives to hydropower, underscoring the state’s commitment to sustainable development.

Singh Deo also visited the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare pavilion, exchanging views with agricultural experts and farmers from various Indian states.

In addition to Singh Deo, Manipur’s Additional Chief Secretary, Anurag Bajpayee, visited the Odisha Pavilion today. He lauded its attractive layout, decorations, agro-products, and the handicrafts crafted by skilled artisans.

The Odisha Pavilion continues to draw crowds, symbolizing the state’s rich cultural heritage and forward-looking economic ambitions at this international platform.
