Two schools in Delhi — Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and Air Force Bal Bharti School, Lodhi Road — received bomb threats via email on Monday morning, triggering evacuations and extensive searches.
School administrations immediately alerted authorities after receiving the threatening emails. Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and fire services rushed to the sites. Security teams cordoned off the areas and conducted thorough searches to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Officials confirmed that no suspicious objects were found during the searches. Investigators are now working to trace the origin of the emails. The cyber cell has been tasked with identifying the sender and verifying the source of the threats.
Police stated that search operations are still underway and investigations continue. Authorities emphasised that precautionary measures were taken to safeguard everyone present at the schools.
