Residents across Delhi-NCR were briefly startled on Tuesday morning by earthquake tremors that occurred around 6:00 AM IST.
According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the quake measured 3.2 magnitude on the Richter scale, with its epicentre in Faridabad, Haryana.
The tremor originated at a shallow depth of 5 km, located at latitude 28.29° N and longitude 72.21° E.
Despite the early-hour jolt, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
Authorities have assured the public there is no cause for alarm, and emergency services remain on alert.
