New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s personal assistant (PA) Bibhav Kumar for questioning in connection with the alleged scam over the Delhi liquor policy.
He appeared before the ED and his statements are being recorded under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
As per the charge sheet, Sameer Mahendru, a liquor businessman and prime accused in the excise policy scam talked with Arvind Kejriwal over a video call.
Kejriwal asked Sameer to trust AAP’s communication in-charge Vijay Nair, said the ED.
Nair is one of the accused in the case. As per the probe agency, Sameer Mahendru and Vijay Nair allegedly conspired with others in the Delhi liquor policy scam.
