Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the OMFED & Koraput Coffee Café at Odisha Niwas in New Delhi today, marking a significant step in promoting the state’s rich agricultural and cultural heritage.
The newly launched outlets will serve high-quality dairy products from OMFED (Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation) and premium coffee sourced from the tribal hills of Koraput. These cafés are designed to cater to customers in the capital while strengthening the brand visibility of Odisha’s indigenous products.
Speaking at the event, CM Majhi emphasized the importance of empowering local producers and tribal communities through market expansion. “Koraput Coffee is not just a beverage—it’s a symbol of Odisha’s biodiversity and tribal resilience,” he said. He also highlighted that OMFED’s dairy offerings reflect the state’s commitment to quality and cooperative development.
The initiative is expected to boost tourism, create new market linkages, and offer Delhi residents a taste of Odisha’s authentic flavors.
