The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, organised by the MYBharat platform under the Government of India, has drawn over 50 lakh participants aged 15-29 from across the country.

The four-day event (January 9-12) focuses on leadership, innovation, and youth contributions toward realising the vision of a “Developed India” by 2047. Competitions in various creative categories, including painting, are part of the programme to recognise and encourage young talent.

Badal Nayak’s artwork stood out among thousands of entries, earning him national-level recognition.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the closing session of the dialogue on January 12, where he will interact with participants and outline the role of youth in nation-building.

The success of Badal Nayak underscores Odisha’s growing pool of creative talent and the state’s active participation in national initiatives aimed at empowering the next generation.
