The Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi today organised a soul-stirring patriotic music festival titled “Bharatiyam” at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, who attended as the chief guest and lauded the Akademi’s efforts in promoting cultural unity through music.
As part of the celebrations, the Chief Minister visited the “Ghare Ghare Triranga” art exhibition, which showcased vibrant depictions of national pride. Renowned vocalists from Odisha performed evocative patriotic songs that stirred the audience’s emotions and reinforced the spirit of unity.
The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including Hon’ble Minister of Law, Works & Excise Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, Hon’ble Ekamra MLA Shri Babu Singh, Chief Minister’s spouse Dr. Priyanka Marandi, Secretary of Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department Dr. Bijaya Ketan Upadhyay, and Secretary of Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi Dr. Chandrasekhar Hota.
The festival served as a cultural bridge, connecting citizens with the essence of patriotism through music and art, and reaffirmed Odisha’s commitment to preserving and celebrating India’s rich heritage.
