Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Kotpad MLA Sadan Naik.
In a condolence message, Chief Minister Shri Majhi said, Naik was a talented organizer, social worker and philanthropist who gained popularity in Koraput district. He was elected as the MLA of Kotpad from 1990 to 1995 and brought many changes in the education, healthcare and transportation sectors of the constituency. His contribution to the development of the region will be remembered forever. His demise has created a void in the politics of Koraput district.
କୋଟପାଡ଼ର ପୂର୍ବତନ ବିଧାୟକ ସଦନ ନାୟକଙ୍କ ପରଲୋକ ଖବର ଶୁଣି ମୁଁ ମର୍ମାହତ ଏବଂ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Chief Minister Shri Majhi prayed to the Lord to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed his condolences to his bereaved family.
Deputy Chief Minister Smt Pravati Parida also expressed deep grief over the death of Shri Sadan Naik. In a post, Smt Parida said,
“I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the demise of former Kotpad MLA Sadan Naik. I pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul and express my condolences to the bereaved family”.
