Popular Chinese singer, actor, and model Yu Menglong, best known for his roles in Go Princess Go and Eternal Love, has tragically passed away at the age of 37.
According to his management team, Yu died after falling from a building in Beijing in the early hours of September 11.
Agency Confirms Death, Police Rule Out Criminal Intent
Yu Menglong’s agency issued a formal statement following the news that first surfaced on Weibo, confirming his passing:
“With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on Sept 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong.”
Authorities confirmed that there were no signs of foul play, though the exact circumstances leading to the fall remain under investigation.

According to reports, Yu was at a private gathering with five to six close friends on the night of September 9. He reportedly went to sleep in a bedroom around 2 AM on September 11, locking the door from inside.
At around 6 AM, when his friends were preparing to leave, they did not see him. Upon searching, they discovered Yu’s body outside the building. A neighbor walking their dog called the police. Investigators later confirmed he had fallen from the fifth floor and died instantly after hitting the concrete floor.
