Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra on Thursday reviewed the progress of various projects which are socially and economically important and set the timeline for early completion.
Development Commissioner Pradip Kumar Jena presented the details on the ongoing projects through digital mode. The projects which were discussed were new wards of district hospitals and coal mine ventures.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the work of a 650-bed hospital in Balasore, a new medical college in Baripada, a 100-bed hospital in Jajpur, and a 650-bed hospital in Koraput.
Mahapatra also reviewed the progress of work of the 650-bed hospital in Puri, 100-bed hospital in Kalahandi, and 30-bed new hospital building in Boudh.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the acquisition of land and environmental clearance and other aspects of the projects underway at different districts.
The review meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Family Welfare, Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest & Environment Dr. Mona Sharma, Principal Secretary, Electricity, Nikunja Bihari Dhal, and other high-level officials.
