The Change of Guard Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan will not be held on September 13, 20, and 27, 2025, due to scheduled rehearsals by the Ceremonial Battalion.
The battalion will be preparing for the prestigious Diamond Jubilee presentation of the Silver Trumpet and Trumpet Banner to the President’s Bodyguard.
The Change of Guard, a weekly ceremonial tradition held at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan, is a popular attraction for both domestic and international visitors. The suspension is temporary and will resume after the rehearsals conclude.
