Seoul: ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young, and Lee Hyun Woo’s upcoming drama has revealed its broadcasting schedule!
“A Good Day to Be a Dog” is scheduled to broadcast via MBC once a week every Wednesday. In the past, MBC showcased Wednesday dramas through “SF8” and “Boar Hunt.” A source from MBC shared, “MBC previously led the trend for Korean dramas with flexible broadcasting schedules and experimental spirit. As a refreshing rom-com, ‘A Good Day to Be a Dog’ has a suitable story and charming characters that will captivate viewers on a weekday night, so we confidently decided on the broadcast schedule of airing once a week.”
Based on a webtoon, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” is a fantasy romance drama about a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog when she kisses a man. However, the only person who can undo her curse is a man who is afraid of dogs due to a traumatic event he can no longer remember.
Cha Eun Woo will be starring as the male lead Jin Seo Won, who is terrified of dogs due to a past incident. Although Jin Seo Won spent his life hiding his trauma and sorrowful past behind his handsome looks and aloof demeanor, an unexpected encounter becomes a turning point in his life that leads him to change.
Park Gyu Young will be taking on the role of the female lead Han Hae Na, a pretty and intelligent teacher who seems to have everything going for her on the surface. However, after kissing fellow teacher Jin Seo Won, she faces the biggest crisis of her life.
Lee Hyun Woo will be starring in the drama as Lee Bo Gyeom, a character who hides his chilling, razor-sharp nature behind a warm and friendly smile.
“A Good Day to Be a Dog” recently finished filming in April and is in post-production stages to greet viewers soon. The drama is set to premiere in October. Stay tuned for more updates!
