Seoul: Cha Eun Woo, Jo Woo Jin, and Ha Yun Kyung may star in a new drama together. On January 19, industry insiders shared that ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, Ha Yun Kyung, and Jo Woo Jin will be starring in the new series “Bulk” (literal title). “Bulk” is a crime series in which a police officer, a fixer who is a part of the field’s mainstream, and a prosecutor team up to pursue dark forces against the backdrop of Gangnam at night.
In response to the report, Cha Eun Woo’s agency Fantagio shared, “[Bulk] is one of the projects he received an offer for. It is not yet confirmed.” Previously, Cha Eun Woo impressed with his acting transformation by playing the role of exorcist John in “Island” and confirmed his appearance in the new webtoon-based drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (working title).
Ha Yun Kyung is also in talks to star in the drama as a prosecutor. The actress impressed through her character Choi Su Yeon in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and will continue to showcase her diverse acting skills in 2023. Ha Yun Kyung’s upcoming drama “See You in My 19th Life” is also set to premiere this year.
Meanwhile, Jo Woo Jin’s agency Yooborn Company confirmed on the same day that the actor accepted his casting offer and will star as a veteran detective in the drama.
“Bulk” will be directed by Park Noo Ri, who previously worked on the film “Money,” and the broadcast schedule is yet to be decided.
