The CBI has raided the residence of senior IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi in connection with a ₹10 lakh bribery case involving Bridge & Roof Company.
The raid follows a summons issued to Sethi in December 2024, asking him to appear before the CBI as he is believed to have relevant information about the case.
The bribery case led to the arrest of four individuals, including the Group General Manager of Bridge & Roof Company.
While it is unclear what specific information the CBI seeks from Sethi, he had previously written to the CMD of Bridge & Roof Company regarding ₹37 crore worth of school upgrade projects. The situation remains under investigation, and further details are awaited.
