Captain Harmanpreet Singh was the star of the match, netting both goals for India and securing their ascent to third place in the league standings.
Despite facing a formidable England side buoyed by a recent 3-2 win, India displayed remarkable resilience and attacking prowess. However, England quickly responded with a penalty stroke conversion by Captain Conor Williamson, leveling the score at 1-1.
