The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Odisha unit celebrated its Foundation Day with grandeur and enthusiasm at the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The event served as a moment of reflection on the party’s journey, a celebration of achievements, and a recommitment to public service.
In a passionate address, BJP Odisha President Manmohan Samal thanked the people of Odisha for their continued support and confidence in the party’s vision. He attributed the BJP’s phenomenal growth to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the relentless efforts of grassroots workers across the country.
“Today, the BJP stands as the largest political party in the world, committed to serving every citizen. The unwavering love and blessings from the people have propelled our movement forward,” Samal said.
Samal proudly announced that BJP Odisha has crossed 40 lakh registered members, marking a new record for the state unit. Highlighting this as a reflection of rising public trust, he shared the party’s next goal—to double its membership base within the year, reaching every block and panchayat.
The event saw the presence of several senior leaders, including Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and BJP’s Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, who graced the occasion as chief guests.
Both leaders praised the dedication of BJP karyakartas and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to building a stronger, progressive, and inclusive Odisha, rooted in good governance and national pride.
The Foundation Day gathering was marked by energetic participation from party workers, symbolizing BJP’s deepening roots and growing momentum in Odisha’s political landscape.
