The much-anticipated Bigg Boss 19 is all set to premiere tonight, Sunday, August 24, with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan returning as host.
The new season brings a political twist under the theme “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar”, and promises high drama, new rivalries, and nostalgic elements from previous editions.
Where to Watch:
-
OTT Premiere: JioHotstar at 9:00 PM
-
TV Broadcast: Colors TV at 10:30 PM
New Theme: Politics Meets Reality
This season’s format introduces a unique political system inside the house. Contestants will be divided into groups like political parties, hold elections, and appoint ministers. The house will feature an “assembly room” where participants will engage in debates, leadership challenges, and power struggles.
Salman Khan, seen in the trailer surrounded by Black Cat commandos and donning a Nehru jacket, revealed the power-centric theme and hinted at a season packed with “too much fun.”
Reports also suggest a REWIND twist, where elements from past seasons will return. Adding spice to the format, the producers have reportedly included friends, exes, and rivals as housemates this year.
