The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) announced revised parking charges at Master Canteen Square, covering cycles, scooters, motorcycles, and cars. The new tariff includes 18% GST.
For cycles, charges start at Rs 2 for up to two hours and rise to Rs 24 for daily parking. Scooters and motorcycles cost Rs 6 for two hours, Rs 10 for two to six hours, and Rs 47 for daily parking. Cars cost Rs 18 for two hours, Rs 35 for two to six hours, and Rs 142 for daily parking.
Monthly passes are available for regular users. Cycles cost Rs 177 per month, scooters and motorcycles Rs 295, and cars Rs 1180.
Officials stated that the revised charges aim to streamline parking management and reduce congestion at one of Bhubaneswar’s busiest hubs. The structured fee system encourages short-term parking while offering affordable monthly options for commuters.
