The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the complete schedule of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 on Saturday.
The tournament will run from January 9 to February 5 across Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.
Mumbai Indians will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the opening fixture at Navi Mumbai on January 9. Moreover, the Navi Mumbai leg will continue until January 17, featuring 11 matches. The action will then shift to Vadodara, which will host the next 11 matches, including the playoffs.
The league stage will conclude on February 1. The Eliminator, featuring the teams placed second and third on the points table, will be played on February 3 in Vadodara. Furthermore, the table topper will progress directly to the Final, scheduled for February 5. The grand finale will crown the next TATA WPL champion in Vadodara.
The announcement has generated excitement among fans, as the WPL continues to grow as a premier platform for women’s cricket. With matches spread across two venues, the tournament promises competitive action and a showcase of top talent.
