The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced that online ticket sales for the India–South Africa T20 match at Barabati Stadium will begin tomorrow, December 1.
The high-voltage encounter will take place on December 9, marking the first game of the three-match T20 series.
OCA secretary Sanjay Behera revealed that only 2,000 tickets will be sold online. Meanwhile, counters will open on December 5 to sell 10,000 tickets offline. In total, 23,000 tickets will be available, while 18,400 complimentary passes will also be distributed. As a result, the stadium will accommodate 42,000 spectators for the match.
The ticket prices have been fixed across different galleries and enclosures:
- Gallery 1 & 3: Rs 1,100
- Gallery 2 & 4: Rs 900
- Gallery 5: Rs 1,200
- Gallery 7: Rs 700
- Special Enclosure: Rs 6,000
- AC Box: Rs 8,000
- New Pavilion: Rs 10,000
- Corporate Box: Rs 20,000
Behera stressed that each individual can purchase a maximum of two tickets. Furthermore, he assured that special arrangements have been made to avoid confusion, learning from the ticketing issues during the previous match.
Additionally, the OCA confirmed that discussions with the Chief Minister will be held to plan stadium upgradation.
