Balasore DSP Among Two Killed in Road Accident in Jajpur

In a tragic incident, two people, including an on-duty Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) were killed as a speeding truck collided with the car they were travelling in near Chandapur chhaka under Panikoili Police Station limits in Jajpur district on Sunday.

The deceased Police DSP has been identified as Balaram Nayak of the Ghatagan area in Keonjhar district. He was posted in Balasore district. The identity of the other deceased person is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, the mishap occurred while DSP Nayak and another person were travelling in a car to Ghatagaon. A  speeding truck hit their vehicle, causing it to overturn and resulting in their deaths.

DSP Nayak was recently posted as the SDPO of Jagatsinghpur. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
