The much-anticipated Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, finally hit theatres on Friday, and social media is buzzing with mixed reactions.
Directed by A Harsha, the fourth installment of the Baaghi franchise has been labeled everything from a “mass entertainer” to a “chaotic, cringe-violent mess” by moviegoers.
Fans praised Tiger’s “intense beast avatar” and even compared him to Sylvester Stallone, calling the film “a must-watch for action lovers.” Sanjay Dutt’s villainous role received special mention, with many viewers saying he added “emotional weight” to the narrative. Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa were appreciated for bringing a “fresh vibe” to the franchise.
Some tweets were glowing, calling it “the best since Avatar” and praising its high-octane action, emotional core, and adrenaline-packed final act.
However, not all feedback was positive. Several viewers criticised the plot, calling the storytelling “chaotic” and “lacking depth.” A section of the audience felt Tiger Shroff’s acting failed to match his action skills, with one user bluntly stating, “Baaghi 4 screams Animal, just that Tiger can’t act like Ranbir Kapoor.”
One harsh review summed up the criticism:
“An unnecessary, cringe-violent mess with no story or acting. Rating: 1/5. Baaghi 4 proves why some franchises should retire.”
