Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) for the Jharkhand Assembly elections in Ranchi on Sunday.
Present at the launch were Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Sanjay Seth, and BJP Jharkhand president Babulal Marandi.
At the event, BJP Jharkhand president Babulal Marandi stated that development in Jharkhand has progressed under BJP’s governance.
“Development in Jharkhand has always advanced whenever the BJP has been in power. In contrast, the JMM has neglected the state’s development, focusing only on their family’s growth. They have plundered Jharkhand for five years without fulfilling any promises. This time, the people are determined to establish an NDA government,” Marandi declared.
BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo mentioned that the manifesto encompasses all societal segments of Jharkhand, including farmers, women, youth, and developmental sectors.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma had previously stated that the Sankalp Patra would contain 150 resolutions.
The Jharkhand Assembly elections for 81 seats will take place in two phases on November 13 and November 20, with vote counting set for November 23.
In the last assembly election, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha secured 30 seats, BJP won 25, and Congress claimed 16 seats.
