AHPGIC Cuttack has launched a Pediatric Library to support child patients with joy, learning, and emotional care.
Located on the first floor of the old building, the library offers a vibrant space for children undergoing cancer treatment.
The facility includes storybooks, comics, picture books, drawing materials, educational games, and digital learning tools. It creates a cheerful environment where children can relax and explore creativity during their hospital stay.
Trained counselors and staff will guide children through reading, storytelling, and interactive sessions. The library remains open during hospital visiting hours and accommodates ten children along with their parents.
This initiative reflects AHPGIC’s commitment to holistic cancer care. It goes beyond medical treatment to nurture the mental and emotional well-being of young patients.
The Pediatric Library AHPGIC project was designed by the hospital administration in collaboration with NGOs from Odisha. It aims to foster confidence and positivity among children, offering a welcome break from clinical routines.
By integrating compassion and education into its services, AHPGIC continues to redefine pediatric cancer care in Odisha. The Pediatric Library AHPGIC stands as a symbol of healing through imagination and support.
