The sacred city of Puri witnessed a divine signal today as the Agyan Mala reached the chariots, marking Lord Jagannath’s celestial approval for the commencement of the world-famous Rath Yatra.
The Agyan Mala, symbolic of Lord Jagannath’s command, was ceremoniously placed upon the chariots, an essential ritual that clears the path for the chariot festival to begin. As tradition dictates, following this ritual, the three majestic chariots will be aligned in front of the Singhadwara (Lion’s Gate) of Srimandir.
