New Delhi: Following a cybersecurity update from CrowdStrike, Microsoft’s services experienced a global outage, and now, Google’s video streaming service YouTube is reportedly down across India.
According to Downdetector, significant outages have been reported in major cities such as New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Team YouTube has acknowledged the issue and is currently investigating. The outage seems to be widespread, with users from Australia, the UK, and the US also reporting problems with YouTube.
Both YouTube and YouTube Studio, the platform’s creator suite, are experiencing simultaneous downtime.
Downdetector indicates that reports of YouTube outages began around 1:41 pm IST, reaching a peak of 136 cases. At the time of this report, the tracker showed over 100 user reports.
In addition to the cities mentioned earlier, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Pune are also reporting YouTube outages.
