Sundargarh: In a strict vigilance over employees being absent from duties, two teachers were dismissed and 8 have been slapped with show-cause notice in Sundargarh district on Saturday.
They would all be disengaged from their jobs if they fail to give satisfactory answers, reports said.
All these teachers were found to be absent from their duties for years together.
The State School and Mass Education Department has directed the District Education Officers (DEOs) to take stringent action against teachers who have remained absent without leave applications.
