Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida on Monday extended Ganesh Chaturthi greetings to the people, praying for peace, prosperity and the continued progress of the state.
In his message, CM Majhi wished people happiness, peace, prosperity and success on the auspicious occasion. Invoking Lord Ganesh, revered as the remover of obstacles, he prayed for a smoother path towards Odisha’s development.
“Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone on the sacred occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. With the blessings of Lord Shri Ganesh, the remover of obstacles, may everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace, prosperity and success,” Majhi said in a post on X.
The chief minister also prayed for Odisha’s continued growth and development, expressing hope that the state would move forward with greater momentum.
Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo Wishes Wisdom, Strength
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, in his Ganesh Chaturthi message, highlighted the importance of wisdom, determination and righteousness in overcoming challenges.
“On the sacred occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, may the divine presence of Shri Ganesh Ji awaken wisdom within us, dissolve every obstacle before us, and give strength to walk the path of righteousness,” he said in a post on X.
Singh Deo further wished that every new beginning would be guided by faith, every endeavour strengthened by determination and every heart filled with peace.
Pravati Parida Prays for Happiness in Every Household
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida also extended her greetings to the people, praying for happiness and prosperity in every household.
“Many, many greetings to everyone on the sacred festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh, the remover of obstacles. By the grace of Lord Shri Ganesh, may every family be filled with happiness and prosperity,” Parida said in a post on X.
She also prayed for Odisha to continue moving forward with new hope, new possibilities and development.
Odisha Gears Up for Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
The messages from Odisha’s top leadership came as people across the state prepared to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with religious fervour.
Devotees traditionally worship Lord Ganesh, seeking blessings for wisdom, prosperity and the removal of obstacles. Community celebrations and pujas are also organised at several places across Odisha during the festival.
