Mayurbhanj: Mystery shrouded the death of a railway employee, whose body was found on the premises of the Baripada Railway Station in Mayurbhanj district today.
According to reports, the victim, Bhagaban Mohanty, who hails from of Bhadrak district, was working as the gatekeeper at Baripada Railway Station. However, he was found dead on the premises of the station this morning.
While the exact cause behind the death of the railway staff is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that Mohanty died after being repeatedly stabbed with a sharp weapon.
Police have registered a case and launched a probe into the incident.
