The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has completed the Phase‑I SPOT Selection under the +2 e‑Admission process for the academic year 2026‑27, with 25,332 students securing seats across streams.
Officials said 3,786 fresh candidates who had missed out in earlier rounds were selected this time. The Arts stream recorded the highest admissions with 14,180 students, followed by Science (7,226), Commerce (2,601), Vocational (1,068), and Sanskrit (257).
Out of 48,536 candidates considered, 25,332 were selected while 23,204 remained unselected. With this, the number of students still awaiting admission after the first, second, and SPOT rounds stands at 20,450.
Authorities added that 7,338 candidates have been allotted seats against their first preference of college and stream. Selected students have been advised to check the SAMS portal for admission and document verification instructions. Details of the next phase of e‑admissions will be announced soon.
