Allu Cinemas, touted as India’s largest Dolby Cinema and Hyderabad’s first, will officially open on March 18 with paid previews of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.
The grand launch continues on March 19 with screenings of Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Pawan Kalyan.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the theatre tomorrow. The facility, located inside the Allu Studios complex in Kokapet, features a massive 75-foot-wide screen, making it the largest Dolby Cinema in India and reportedly the second largest worldwide. It is also believed to be Asia’s biggest Dolby Cinema screen.
The theatre is equipped with Dolby Vision 3D projection for sharp visuals and Dolby Atmos sound systems for immersive audio. A soft launch and technical testing were conducted in January, attended by Allu Arjun and his family.
The management confirmed the launch on social media, promising audiences an extraordinary cinematic experience.
About Dhurandhar 2: The sequel brings Ranveer Singh back in dual roles as Jaskirat and Hamza, with Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt reprising their parts. The trailer, released March 7, set the tone for a high-octane revenge drama. Advance bookings opened the same day.
