President Droupadi Murmu will address the nation on January 25, 2026, on the eve of the 77th Republic Day.
The address will be broadcast at 1900 hrs on the entire national network of Akashvani and telecast across all Doordarshan channels.
The President’s speech will first be aired in Hindi, followed by the English version. Doordarshan’s regional channels will then broadcast the address in regional languages, while Akashvani will carry regional versions from 2130 hrs onwards.
The annual address traditionally sets the tone for Republic Day celebrations, reflecting on national achievements and priorities while reaffirming constitutional values.
