Additional Chief Secretary Deoranjan Kumar Singh formally took charge as the State Development Commissioner today at the office of the Development Commissioner under the Planning and Coordination Department.
The ceremony took place at 10:15 a.m., where senior officials and staff welcomed him warmly.
Singh expressed gratitude for the support extended by colleagues and assured that he would work with full cooperation from all departments to strengthen developmental initiatives across the state. He emphasised collective effort as the key to achieving progress and reiterated his commitment to transparent governance and effective planning.
Officials present at the occasion highlighted the importance of the role, noting that the Development Commissioner’s office plays a crucial part in coordinating state-level projects and ensuring the smooth execution of policies.
