Ekamra Walks will host two immersive cultural events this Sunday, inviting participants to experience Odisha’s literary and artistic traditions.
The day begins with the Odia Literary Trail at 11:30 AM and concludes with the Odia Film Panorama at Kala Bhoomi at 5:30 PM.
Morning Session: Odia Literary Trail The Odia Literary Trail will feature a storytelling session based on the Odia short story Swapnabhanga. Participants can engage with the narrative directly, even without prior reading, which creates an inclusive and engaging atmosphere.
Furthermore, the trail will highlight the traditional Dhap dance, a rhythmic art form rooted in the Kandha community. Dhap, known for its powerful beats and cultural depth, embodies generations of storytelling through movement and music. Together, spoken narrative and rhythmic expression will enrich the morning experience.
