Odisha has secured first place and won the Gold Medal at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 held in New Delhi. The award was presented today during a special ceremony organised by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO).

Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated Team Odisha on this remarkable achievement and expressed his happiness over the state’s continued excellence. He stated that this accomplishment significantly strengthens Odisha’s reputation at both the national and international levels.

A total of 31 states and Union Territories participated in the international trade fair. Odisha earned the top honour for its outstanding performance in the overall exhibition category. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Odisha has received this prestigious recognition, and the second time the state has won the Gold Medal.

The exhibition was organised under the direct supervision of the Information and Public Relations Department. Odisha showcased 26 stalls representing 9 state government departments, highlighting the state’s developmental initiatives, cultural heritage, and transformative vision.

The state also presented its long-term development roadmap focused on “Prosperous Odisha by 2036” and aligned with the national vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. On 22 November, during Odisha Day celebrations at the fair, Chief Minister Majhi visited the Odisha pavilion, praised the exhibition’s display of art, heritage, and traditions, and encouraged all participants.
