Former actor and former Miss India Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Austrian businessman Peter Haag, seeking damages of ₹50 crore. The case was submitted before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) at Andheri Court in Mumbai, according to media reports.
The complaint, filed under the Domestic Violence Act, accuses Haag of cruelty, manipulation, and domestic abuse. The matter came up before the court of SC Tadye for verification and issuance of notice.
Reports indicate that Jaitly is seeking financial compensation not only for alleged abuse but also for loss of income and property. The couple, married since 2011, share three sons. They welcomed twin boys, Winston and Viraaj, in 2012, and another set of twins, Shamsher and Arthur, in 2017. Tragically, Shamsher passed away shortly after birth due to a heart condition.
Peter Haag, an entrepreneur and hotelier by profession, is a resident of Austria.

Celina Jaitly has also recently been in the news regarding her brother, Major (Retd.) Vikrant Jaitly, whom she alleges was illegally detained in the UAE in September 2024. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed earlier this month that Indian officials have been providing assistance and have conducted four consular visits.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that the matter is being actively monitored. The Delhi High Court has also instructed the MEA to extend legal support after Celina filed a petition seeking urgent medical and legal assistance for her brother.
As the domestic violence case proceeds, further hearings in the Andheri court will determine the next steps.
