Odisha is set to captivate visitors at the ongoing 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 with its dedicated State Day celebration tomorrow.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will grace the event as the chief guest, highlighting the state’s rich cultural heritage and developmental strides.

The cultural extravaganza, scheduled from 3 PM to 4:30 PM at Amphitheatre-1 in Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, promises a vibrant showcase of Odisha’s identity. Attendees can expect traditional performances, including Odissi dance and folk arts, alongside displays of artisanal crafts that reflect the state’s sustainable initiatives.

Inaugurated on November 14 by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, the Odisha Pavilion has already drawn widespread attention for its intricate designs inspired by the state’s heritage.

Since its opening, the pavilion has hosted notable visitors, including Tripura’s Industries Minister Santana Chakma, who praised the paddy crafts by the Bhottada tribe of Nabarangpur, and Odisha’s Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo.

Parliamentary committee members and international guests have also lauded its representation of Odisha’s cultural and economic potential.

Running until November 27, IITF 2025 has attracted over a million visitors, providing Odisha a national platform to promote its vision of “Viksit Odisha 2036” amid India’s push for self-reliance.
