President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a significant three-day visit to Gujarat from October 9 to 11, 2025.
Arriving in Rajkot on the evening of October 9, President Murmu will begin her visit to the heart of Saurashtra, a region steeped in history and mythology.
The highlight of October 10 promises to be a profound spiritual experience at the iconic Somnath Temple in Prabhas Patan. President Murmu will perform Darshan and Aarti, immersing in the sacred rituals that have echoed through centuries.
Later that day, the President will venture into the wilds of Gir National Park, the last natural habitat of the Asiatic lion. Amidst the lush forests of Sasan Gir, she will interact with members of the local tribal community.
On October 11, the President will perform Darshan and Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple at Dwarka. On the same day, she will also grace the 71st convocation ceremony of the Gujarat Vidyapith at Ahmedabad.
