India’s premier table tennis league, Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), is set to return for its sixth season from May 29 to June 15, 2025.
For the first time, Ahmedabad will play host to the event, which will be held at the renowned EKA Arena. This venue has previously staged major events like the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup and the 2019 Intercontinental Cup.
The upcoming season will feature eight teams, including defending champions Goa Challengers, who are aiming for a record third title. Goa Challengers secured their second championship by defeating Dabang Delhi TTC last season, making them UTT’s first two-time champions.
The league’s format will see the eight teams divided into two groups of four. Each team will play five league ties, with the top four teams advancing to the knockout rounds. The grand finale is scheduled for June 15. Each team will consist of six players, including two international stars, competing in five matches per tie — two women’s singles, two men’s singles, and one mixed doubles.
Fans and sports enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting season of high-caliber table tennis as the best players from around the world converge in Ahmedabad to compete for the coveted title.
