New Delhi: The Congress party’s disastrous streak of poor performances do not seem to augur well with party functionaries despite rejigs and retrospections.
Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Kapil Sibal reacted after the Assembly poll results that the grand old party’s performances must be looked into. This is the time for introspection as the party couldn’t bag even a single seat in West Bengal. It has failed miserably in Assam and Kerala.
The Congress leader also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the impending Covid-19 situation in India and said that the PM should must take initiative with conviction that India will win this fight against the virus.
Sibal was an integral part of the rebel G-23 camp in the Congress that had asked for an organisational revamp in a letter to Sonia Gandhi in August last year.
