A screenshot of a conversation between two students about a stabbing incident at Seventh-Day Adventist School in Khokra has gone viral on social media platform X, triggering widespread outrage and protests.
The Class 10 victim, reportedly around 15 years old, was stabbed by a Class 9 student during a minor scuffle on Tuesday and succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The chat, allegedly on Instagram between the accused, using the handle museffff.ms, and a friend, shows the boy admitting to the act and dismissively saying, “Jo hogaya vo hogaya” (what has happened, has happened). In the conversation, the friend criticizes the attacker for taking a life over a trivial disagreement, while the accused urges caution about revealing the incident.

Friend: Bhai, did you do something today?
Accused: Yes.
Friend: Did you stab someone?
Accused: Who told you?
Friend: Please call for a minute.
Friend: ***** You can’t stab someone to death for this. You could have just beaten him up, not killed him.
Accused: Whatever happened has happened now.
Friend: Take care of yourself. Go underground for some time. Delete these chats.
Accused: Ok.
Authorities have detained the accused under the Juvenile Act. CCTV footage shows the victim stumbling back into the school with a stab wound before being rushed to a private hospital where he died.
The shocking incident has sparked violent protests outside the school, with mobs vandalising the premises and assaulting staff members, demanding stricter disciplinary measures. Parents expressed frustration over repeated misconduct at the school, including abusive language, obscene gestures, carrying knives, harassment of girls, and inappropriate use of school computers—complaints they claim have been largely ignored by the administration.
“The school administration dismisses these cases by taking written apologies from students, without implementing strict action,” one parent told ANI, highlighting that such incidents have been recurring over the past two years.
The incident has reignited debates over school safety, juvenile crime, and the role of authorities in enforcing discipline. Netizens on X have called for urgent reforms and stricter accountability measures in schools.
