From now on, all eligible beneficiaries will have to do e-KYC through the biometric process to get SUBHADRA Yojana assistance.
The W&CD department has clarified that the 5.11 lakh beneficiaries who have not done e-KYC under Subhadra or have done e-KYC through OTP, will also have to do e-KYC through the biometric process to get SUBHADRA assistance.
In this regard, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has assured all the beneficiaries that the fourth phase of SUBHADRA assistance will be available after the applications of all eligible beneficiaries are scrutinized.
She has ensured that e-KYC will be done for the beneficiaries who have not received Subhadra assistance through the biometric process at Mo Seva Kendras and Jan Seva Kendras.
She said that the staff of these centers will telephone them and advise them to do e-KYC through biometric method.
So far, 52 Jan Seva Kendras have been blacklisted due to negligence of duty, while FIRs have been lodged against 14 Jan Seva Kendras for illegally demanding money from the beneficiaries.
Many beneficiaries have applied to opt-out of the SUBHADRA Yojana. But we have received complaints that many applicants have submitted the opt-out applications by mistake, said Smt. Parida.
Therefore, in view of the present situation, the “opt-out” option has been closed in the SUBHADRA portal and necessary steps will be taken to resolve the grievances of the complainants.
A detailed list of all the beneficiaries is available on the Subhadra portal. Beneficiaries can also get this information through the help desk at the office of the District Child Development Project Officer (CDPO).
To complete e-KYC through biometric process, applicants will have to go to the nearest CSC/MSK center with the acknowledgement receipt or their Aadhaar number. The biometric e-KYC process is completely free of cost. The beneficiaries do not have to pay any fee for this.
The officials of this center will explain to the beneficiaries that after completing the e-KYC through biometric process, the beneficiaries will go to their bank and link their bank accounts with Aadhaar and DBT, the Women and Child Development Department has clarified.
