Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is earning accolades from one and all for his coronavirus management and providing help to the people of other states.
Patnaik has taken the noble initiative to dispatch oxygen tankers to the worst affected states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Telangana. The most praiseworthy thing is that CM Patnaik has taken the initiative on his own to send oxygen tankers to the above-mentioned states much before the concerned governments made formal requests on the matter.
Odisha government has dispatched nearly 800 MT of oxygen to different states as these are facing a severe shortfall in the life saving item. The Odisha government not only sent the oxygen tankers but also ensured the smooth movement of these trucks.
The officials of Odisha have arranged a green corridor to facilitate that the smooth movement of tankers carrying oxygen, that can reach their destination without any hassles. Â The oxygen tankers have also been sent to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh which are among the worst affected in the country.
Odisha CM is widely adored by the netizens and social media users for his selfless endeavour to supply medical-grade oxygen to the worst affected states affected with deadly coronavirus.
Observers maintained that Patnaik has never wanted take credit for his effort through TV or any other media outlets for his act of supplying much-needed oxygen to the coronavirus patients. He has become a national hero by his noble work, the observers maintained.
Naveen is trending on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms for his noble work of sending oxygen tankers and saving the lives of over 50000 lives who are affected with deadly coronavirus.
By Saturday, 29 tankers  laden with 510 MT of oxygen have been sent to Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The police top brasses have been directed by  the Chief Minister himself to ensure the movement of the tankers in time and these vehicles are being escorted out of Odisha with the help of police. Special efforts have been made to ensure that  these tankers are not halted halfway. One ADG is in charge of the operation and by Monday 66 tankers carrying 1268 MT of oxygen have been sent to the states worst affected with coronavirus.
