Odisha Government has taken all adequate advance steps for farmers registered for the sale of paddy in the current Kharif season.
Nodal officers have been appointed in districts of the state for speedy redressal of various grievances related to the sale of paddy by farmers.
Farmers can know about their token numbers, receiving minimum support price etc. by sitting at home. In addition, the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) has also been made functional.
The Command Control Cum Experience Center at State Civil Supply Corporation has been fully operationalized. If there are any complaints, farmers can contact Toll-free No 1967 directly to register their grievances.
Of the 16,584 calls received in the last month, 14,728 are related to paddy procurement. Similarly, 13 thousand 365 outgoing calls have been created. These include calls related to payment of minimum support price (MSP), grievance follow-up and Kharif season sharecropper verification.
Based on these complaints, the officials are verifying and taking prompt steps to resolve them. In addition, the officials are also verifying the information received from the complaint portal and taking necessary steps for quick redressal.
