New Delhi: Ten persons were safely evacuated from a residential building in Kirtinagar on Wednesday following a fire, according to officials from the Delhi Fire Services.
“We received a call about a house fire at 8:40 am. Two fire engines were deployed,” stated a senior DFS officer.
The officer added that the fire extended to several electric meters, electrical panel boards, and two scooters.
“Officers conducted a rescue operation and successfully evacuated 10 people from various floors. The building includes stilt parking and three residential levels,” the officer reported.
