Puri: Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today announced that a new special train service will be launched from Puri to Ayodhya. The announcement was made during a public function held at Puri Saradhabali.
According to Vaishnaw, the train service will be launched in July or August of this year. Additionally, the minister has also mentioned that the approval of the Puri to Konark new railway line in the Puri district will be granted soon.
Claiming that funding for the development of the railway sector in Odisha has increased from Rs. 800 crore to Rs. 10,000 crore, Vaishnaw has emphasized that the state is witnessing the results of this investment.
Lastly, he has also mentioned that the redevelopment work at Puri railway station will be completed soon, which will benefit lakhs of devotees.
