The magnificent Suna Besha of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra has brought Puri to a standstill, with severe traffic congestion at Maltipatpur and Batagaon causing wait times of over three hours.

Odisha Police are grappling with an unprecedented influx of vehicles as millions of devotees flock to the sacred event.
The police have implemented extensive measures to manage the chaos. Regular alerts are being disseminated via SMS and social media, informing devotees about the delays and advising them to plan their visits accordingly. LED panels at Uttara and Pipilli are raising awareness, while the Commissionerate Police is conducting dynamic diversions at Uttara to ease the burden on incoming traffic.

Despite these efforts, the scale of the event has overwhelmed the existing infrastructure. The Odisha Police have requested public cooperation, emphasising the importance of patience and adherence to traffic directives.
