An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on Monday at 6:15 p.m. shook Meghalaya, according to the National Center for Seismology. The earthquake originated in the North Garo Hills of the state.
The tremors of the quake were felt in parts of West Bengal and Assam.

On Sunday, a mild earthquake jolted parts of Haryana.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 2.6 took place at 11.26 pm on Sunday. The epicentre of the earthquake was located 7 km east southeast of Rohtak in Haryana.
