Jajpur: A huge Shiva Lingam has surfaced in the river bed of Baitarini river near Siddheswar Peeth under Dasarathpur tahsil of Jajpur district.
The Shiva Lingam — a remnant of an ancient temple — which is white in colour has surfaced along with two temples during sand mining from the river bed using excavators.
Devotees and locals alike thronged the spot to have a view of the Shiva lingam.
